PAL PANG: A Design for TomorrowAn Original and Elegant Loft by Another Design International
Just have a look at the original and elegant features this loft puts on show! Designed by Pal Pang of studio Another Design International, this contemporary apartment entitled Mount East Flat and located in Hong Kong has what it takes when it comes to providing inspiration. An atmosphere that emanates complete freedom, aesthetics and unique design and quality were the main elements that this project was built on. Just by using a clever mix of wood, glass and appealing textures, the designers managed to give this home a luxurious look, without major costs. The loft accommodates a large living room, with dining area and partially separated kitchen, a guest room, a master bedroom and a study room. All the interiors, apart from the kitchen and bathrooms, are defined by wood accents and give away the artistic personality of the designer.
Pal Pang studied interior design at the University of the Creative Arts in the UK, where he received an honorary bachelor's degree. After graduation, he returned to Hong Kong and initially focused on retail and commercial brand interior design, such as shopping malls and residential developments. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to taste and distinctive style. In 2002, Pal Pang founded Another Design International, where he serves as the Principal. His designs are known for their fashion-forward and unique style, making him a successful designer in Asia.
This design, known as PAL PANG, has been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award. In 2012, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. The Iron A' Design Award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, these designs provide fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
